Nana Ama Mcbrown’s Lawyer Sets The Record Straight On Why She Went To Court (Video)
Many people have questioned why screen goddess Nana Ama Mcbrown decided to turn up in court yesterday even though there are some reports that she was not served any notice to appear in the case of The State against entertainment critic and artist manager, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog.
As these questions continue to come up, the lawyer for Despite Media, who happens to be the lawyer of Nana Ama Mcbrown in this very case, Dennis Dwomoh has granted an interview to Akwasi Aboagye on Peace FM to set the records straight.
According to him, they were in court yesterday to pray the court that Nana Ama Mcbrown was not willing to be a voluntary witness for The State against Bulldog in the case that the court was presiding on.
Lawyer Dennis Dwomoh revealed that when Bulldog was earlier picked up, Nana Ama Mcbrown was made to give a statement to the police.
However, they did not anticipate that her testimony was going to be used in court against Bulldog and that she will be called to mount the box and testify against the boss of Bullhaus Entertainment.
As such, they were in court yesterday to pray the judge that the court should not allow the prosecution to rely on her witness statement, but instead, she will come as a court witness.
Lawyer Dwomoh added that he, therefore, prayed on the court to expunge Nana Ama Mcbrown‘s witness statement.
